How long does the training take?

The training usually takes 3-4 weeks, depending on the course and the student's availability.

How old do you have to be to start CDL training?

You must be 18 years of age or older.  There is no upper age limit and many individuals turn to trucking as a second career later in life.

Is a CDL permit required to enroll in training?

No, it is not necessary. In fact, most of our students enter our program with little to no prior truck driving experience. In addition to that, you must have your regular Driver’s License. However, if you are coming from another state then Wisconsin, then yes, you must have the CDL permit.

What is the cost for CDL training?

Our CDL training is budget-friendly for students. Next Level provides various support and financing options to assist you in obtaining your CDL certification and reaching your career objectives.

What is the drug test, and do I have to take one?

You must take a DOT drug test at our school before you can drive our vehicles. The test screens for various prohibited substances including THC, which is found in marijuana.
